My phone rings again, and I glance at the screen. My dad. Great.
He’s called at least a million times between yesterday and this morning, and I’ve ignored every single one of them. I’ve ignored every call I’ve gotten until Walker’s call this morning. I haven’t spoken to anyone ever since my life imploded in my face.
I could easily choose not to answer this one, just as I’ve done with the others, but I know if I don’t answer him soon, he’s gonna fly down here eventually. I’ll have to face him, either way.
