I nod. "Yes, lie on your back." I give her a pillow. "Put this under you so you don't get too uncomfortable." 

She takes it from me and does as I instruct.

"Where should I start?"

She wiggles her legs. "Definitely my feet. I think they're swollen."

I move down the bed, taking her leg and placing it on my lap. She squirms, but doesn't say anything. Good.

I lift the leg to inspect her foot. It does look a bit swollen, but I don't think it's just from walking around all day. I remember one of those books said that pregnant ladies often get swollen feet. I wonder if...
