I messed up. 

I fucking messed up. 

I saw the tears gathering in her eyes. I saw the heartbreak in her eyes. And I still fucking left. I didn't even check up on her. 

I knew I made a mistake when the first string of words left my mouth. I wanted to stop talking. But the image of her hugging another man in such an open area kept flashing across my mind. I'd gone to get us something to eat, and she was there, talking to another man like I didn't matter. 

But I guess I don't. I didn't matter to my parents, and I definitely won't matter to a...
