As they stepped out of the café, Georgia pulled her sunglasses over her eyes and looked at Mark.

“I still can’t believe all of that is mine,” she said, her voice low, like she was scared someone might hear.

Mark chuckled. “Well, believe it. And we’re just getting started.”

She blinked at him. “Seriously, though… A whole inheritance? And now I’m getting a car?”

“Yeah,” he said. “You deserve it, Georgia. You’ve been through a lot. It’s time you got something good.”
