Lyra spent a few more days in Vallar's den trying to re-strategize. Vallar by now had started treating her coldly. It was understanding as he was trying to get rid of the love he had harbored for her. She wasn't bothered much as he wasn't her mate, the only thing that bothered her was her inability to think quickly. She was slowly losing her mate to a nobody. Someone who was so irrelevant that if she didn't cause drama, she probably wouldn't live.
