As the evening sun cast a warm orange glow over the backyard, I sat on the porch steps, knitting needles clicking away in my hands. The twins, Zayn and Zeph, were engaged in their favorite pastime - playing in the mud. Their laughter and squeals of delight filled the air as they squelched and splattered in the muddy patch.
