Finishing my shower, I looked at the clock and saw it was nearly 7 am. I quickly donned my clothes and walked toward Aleena’s room.

“Do you think she’s awake?” Night asked.

“She should be. If not, we’ll have to ask Witch Lily to check her up,” I told him. Aleena had been sleeping for a whole day yesterday and was still sleeping when we checked on her at 1 am this dawn.

I opened the door to her bedroom slowly, not wanting to wake her up if she was still asleep, and I heaved out a sigh of relief when I saw her empty bed....
