It was already 3 in the afternoon.  Erland and his two sons, Davin and Andra were already at home.  Likewise with the others, except for Gilang and Darka.

Gilang and Darka's original plan was to come home from campus around 10 am, but their plan went wrong.  Suddenly two of his lecturers gave a lot of assignments to his students and students, so Gilang and Darka ended up coming home late.
