Kayden takes a seat beside me on the bench.

He set his phone on the bed and turned to me “I know Daniel is dangerous and I understand that he would do everything, using his power to make sure that we would be safe, but I promise you that I would not let that happen. I would fight anyone and everyone including myself, to keep a smile on your face”

I smiled back as I took his hands “Okay,” I wished.

He heaved a sigh and looked me in the eye and said. “Stefan would be coming to visit us."
