Miriam’s POV

Two more cars and four motorbikes surrounded our car on the deserted road and we had no choice but to slow down to a stop.

“He’s really here!” I muttered to Elizabeth. “What are we going to do?”

“I don’t know but just try to stay calm. Maybe we can reason with him.”

“He’s not the kind of man you reason with,” Anita said looking more anxious than ever. “I can’t believe he found us. We were so freaking close!”

I looked at her and she seemed to be really freaking out. I could only imagine how she must be feeling right now. I wasn’t Trevor’s ex lover...
