Miriam’s POV

In this very short period, I was finding out a lot of things about Lazar that I would have never imagined before. It was crazy to think that I knew him before but now I was meeting his family and going to their family home.

“We’re almost there,” Serena said to me from the front seat and I nodded.

The environment was in a secluded area and there were so many tall trees that you wouldn’t imagine that there were people living there. It wasn’t until I saw the gated fence that I realized how big the house actually was.

“He grew up here…” I muttered to myself....
