I slammed the door of the taxi harder than I meant to. The loud thud makes an old woman carrying a basket on the street flinch and mutter something under her breath but I don’t care.
I was furious and my blood was boiling. The last thing anyone should expect from me right now is that I should be polite.
I can only blame William for how I feel. William and that thrashy Miriam.
