I looked at her confused and I looked back at Axel for an explanation why the pack protector was bowing to me too.

He held my hand gently, making me feel relaxed, but I was far too nervous and the pack protector smiled. She stood up from her seat and came closer to me, peering at me deep in the eye. I looked away and she smiled.
