The room door opened, I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that it was Axel. No one else could open the door with such confidence.

I held out my hand to embrace him smiling, but he looked annoyed, and my hands dropped with my smile. He stood at the door looking at me intently.

Did I do anything? Maybe I had annoyed him.

He walked to my side and held me in his hands.

“I don't know what I did for the Moon Goddess to give you to me, but you are my blessing and undoing."

Oh, he's sad, not annoyed. I thought.
