AXEL’S P.O.V 

Looking at her back as she ran, I laughed and followed, intentionally running very slowly so she would think she was a better runner. When she had almost reached the exit, I increased my speed and I ran past her. She stopped running and frowned at me. Why did I run past her? I mentally scolded myself.

“Axel, go back and let her win," Lucian said, smiling. I nodded and ran back very far away from her.

"Love, we can run now.” She smiled and started running while I watched her run out before I started running too.
