The party goes smoothly until some of Gastov's friend needs to go home while guests are still coming into the party, Gastov is so happy to see all of his friends and relatives, especially Nate, his only son. Knowing that Nate is satisfied with Beatrice, Gastov is sure now that his son will leave happy in the future. 

As for Nate and Beatrice, they're at Quive's table and talking about something that happened between Nate and Quiver in the past, Beatrice is so happy seeing Nate happy, her heart feels so good as she sees how Nate smiles every time Quiver gives some of their experiences from the past.
