They advanced into the mansion, observing their surroundings where time seemed to have stood still. Nothing had changed since their last visit many years ago. They sat nervously where the maid directed them.

"Son, calm down," Mr Sardino urged Santiago, who was fidgeting incessantly. "Everything will be fine. You weren't to blame for anything!"

"Don't say that, Dad!" Santiago protested. "I should have realised sooner! Bella is her spitting image! Why didn't we notice when she was a child? Besides, it's been so many years. Do you think she'll remember me?"
