Since Leo was raising Neil, Karen Lay, and Ty, he got 60 percent of the estate, and Joann was awarded 40 percent. Her share was $27,740, and it came as a lien against certain properties if Leo should sell them. In essence, she got a small house and a barn that was located on the Green River in Kent, Washington.
