Chase's POV

I slowly open my eyes but quickly close them from the bright lights. I brought my hand up and rub my eyes before trying to slowly open them and adjust to the light in front of my face.

I finally opened it fully and look around. I turn my head to the side and find Mason repeatedly typing on his phone with a smile on his phone. I continue looking around to see that it's only me and him in this room. I'm still in the same hospital bed. He lightly laughs and starts typing again. I decided to show him I'm awake since he wouldn't notice...
