Today was turning out to be one of the best days of my life.

My heart felt so full it could burst. A deep, warm satisfaction bloomed in my chest as I slowly looked around at their faces. The shock. The disbelief. The utter humiliation. Especially Jade’s, her pale, broken expression was pure poetry. I savored every second of it.
