Wade parked the car at our usual space in the garage and we went out of the car. We were greeted by Mom who was at the main door and was obviously waiting for us and beside her was Erin who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Thank God you came!" Mom said. "What took you so long? I heard you used a private plane?"
