"Boss?" J.K. asked as soon as Motun replaced the receiver, her brows slightly raised.

Motun bit her lower lip. "Yes. She said to report in her office. And she sounded urgent."

"I guess that's my cue. I should be on my way too." J.K. said and stood up.

They left the room together and Motun locked the door.

"Tell me all about it." J.K. whispered when they reached Dorathy's office door.

"You've been getting in a lot of trouble lately. Who knows, maybe the higher ups have finally decided to let you go." She added.

"Off you go." Motun shooed, took a deep breath and knocked the door.
