“What is that, Amanda?” Sabrina, her mother, asked, her face imprinted with concern. She trudged towards her, dropping the knitted cloth in her hand on the sofa.  

Mia, whose attention was on the movie she was watching, paused to look at them when she noticed something was wrong. She sprang to her feet, her eyes holding a hint of concern.

“What is it, Amanda?” She asked.
