He did not stop treading on it. The man didn't move anymore so even though he was weak, I approached Akuji and pulled his arm to stop him.

He immediately stopped and looked at me darkly.

"T-That's right..please .." I said. Crying.

He stopped stomping and grabbed the gun again. He removed my grip on the arm and positioned the gun on the man's head.

I was stunned to hear three gunshots in a row from him. I was no longer able to look at the man because I knew he had gained too much.
