The friend, Jason, told him she mentioned her hyper-sexuality right after a fuck-session. She said it was an ongoing fight with an addiction, only he never found out what she was an addict of; she didn't tell. Nick felt enraptured by the affirmation that she wasn't over him. He knew what that addiction was, obviously. He wasn't going to tell Jason though--he was quite the blabbermouth. Nick kept tabs and thankfully, the guy was one of the "better ones," (using her own words) so he regularly got some details from his friend before he stopped when he got a girlfriend.
