I woke up feeling that yesterday a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I stared at the ceiling and smiled knowing that I now had a partner that I could truly talk to regarding my fears and concerns. Cody demonstrated to me yesterday that not only does he listen well but he lets me vent without prejudice.

Yes, we still have a lot to address and overcome but at least I know that I have a partner vested in our success together as one. My heart raced as I let the warmth of my happiness wash through me.
