After the extremely awkward moment with Lenora, Joyce announced that I could be discharged today.

I found the sudden information surprising, and that was when she explained that the only reason I was still in the hospital from two days ago was that I would be immediately taken back to the station if I was discharged, so she just chose not to discharge me.

Ain't that nice?

I was all set to go back to Marina's house when Ethan just grabbed my things and said:

"You're coming with me."
