“Where is my money, Claire. Did you really think you and your boyfriend could steal from me and get away with it?” I asked her sternly. She corked her brow in question, her face filled with curiosity. 

“I’m sorry I wasted your time when I asked you to help me out with money to save my mom. I never meant to take your kindness for granted, and I never thought my sister would get the money before me. I was in need of the money at that time, I wasn’t lying to you or trying to trick you, I promise.” She told me firmly.
