He unplugged and surveyed the space. He appreciated how his daughter had established herself at home. With the possible exception of having her nanny in his bed, she had seamlessly blended into his life and he couldn't have asked for anything more. Maybe he would benefit from some time apart from Becky. Maybe spending a night with an unidentified lady would help him de-stress and stop jumping on Becky whenever he saw her.
