I felt my body shake because I was in someone else's arms.

I knew who that was by the scent.

It was my mother's voice, and she was holding me, speaking to me with sweet words. She was so happy for Hayes and me, and she told me how much she and Luna Ford are looking forward to being a grandmother and their father's proud papaw.
