"Then we're surrounded by threats," Marcus said, frustration bleeding into his voice. "The boys with their facility knowledge and supernatural abilities. The Luna with whatever power let her kill Silas. The Alpha with his pack resources and territorial advantage. How are we supposed to succeed against all of that?"

"By being smarter," I said firmly. "By using the advantages we still possess and exploiting their weaknesses rather than confronting their strengths directly."

"What advantages?" Victoria asked skeptically. "They have our brother. They know our weakness. They're dug into defended territory with pack support and—"

"And they're emotionally compromised," I interrupted.
