“It is,” Kaedryn insisted, nodding his head with certainty. “You are three times the size of my mama.”

“No way. I am not that big," Malakai stated, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that sounded completely ridiculous given the context. "And besides, my shoulders are wide but not as exaggerated as your drawing. You’ve drawn me looking like an overgrown mountain troll. Why are my lips so tight?"

“Isn’t it obvious? It’s because you always look angry," Kaedryn countered, completely unfazed by Malakai’s tone. “Maybe if you smile more I’ll draw a better picture.”
