CLARABEL’S POV
One of the elder healers, an old woman with gray hair wrapped in a neat bun, stood in the corridor holding a tray of clean bandages and jars of salve.
"Is he settling?" she asked quietly.
"He woke up from a nightmare, but he's asleep again," I said, stepping out into the hallway and closing the door slightly behind me. "Thank you for what you did for him."
The healer sighed, looking down at her tray. "The boy's wounds are minor, Lady Clarabel. He will heal quickly. I only wish our Alpha would allow us to do the same for him. He took the brunt of that tunnel...
