Emaya quietly walked forward and sat down beside him with her chin propped up in her hand, staring at him.

Ash sensed her stare and slowly opened his eyes, looking at Emaya smiling at him.

“Eat before sleep.” Emaya passed a sandwich to him.

“Weren’t you going to eat with them?” he asked in a low, raspy voice.

“Don't worry about them. They won’t mind.”

“I.... Want to eat with you.” Emaya's smile widened.

“It's okay... You can go back.” He sighed and leaned his head back down.

“Why? It's my choice whether I want to be with them or be with you. Right?”...
