I woke up, rubbing the space beside me but Adeline wasn't there. I groaned, getting off the bed.

The room looked strange, I mean it was 'empty'. I checked the wardrobe and realised Adeline had moved her things.

"Where the…." I paused, gulping. I told her to leave so what did I expect she remain here?

She probably went back to her family.

I was about to enter the bathroom when I heard a knock on the door. I raised a brow, wondering whom it could be.
