"I'm sorry. I should go." I murmur, grabbing my purse and keys from the countertop.
I walk over to the door and look at Ezra expectantly, waiting for him to say goodbye. When he doesn't, I finally turn around and raise my eyes to meet his.
"Why don't you come with me?" I ask in surprise, raising my eyebrows.
"What?" He asks confusedly.
"Well, why don't we go somewhere together? Like out for lunch or something. Just the two of us."
Ezra stares at me with a mixture of astonishment and hope filling his beautiful blue eyes. His heart is beating rapidly beneath his pale skin.
