That weekend, Tom and Shana went out of town for a getaway. It had been several days since Jackson had told Jennifer that he had to process what she had told him. Since then, he had seemed distant, sometimes sullen. Jennifer's heart ached. She was afraid that she had ruined their relationship, even though she knew that Jackson would never stop loving her.
