I'm Wendy. I was teaching English Composition at the local junior college. My husband Jeff was the track and volleyball coach. We'd been working here since we both graduated from college, Jeff a year before me.

The track team for the junior college was pretty good. They recruited kids for scholarships and some of the better athletes were picked up by major universities after a year or two at our JC. The track team had won a couple of conference championships in the five years Jeff coached them and he was a good candidate for a job at a university as well....
