The balcony was ridiculously fucking amazing. It was one of the closest balconies to the actual beach itself and as they were on the second floor, there was only one other balcony nearby and, according to Maddie, it was rarely used by the people who currently lived there—boring grad students was how she described them. The other nice thing was that the balcony was enclosed in a solid barrier meaning that if you were sitting down or laying down no one could see you.
