One night Nolan had a date. Jessica was extremely jealous, but she knew that she had no right to be. She knew that her brother wasn't going to have sex with his date, but she could not stand to imagine him kissing another girl. She knew that she had no right to think this way, particularly with what she was doing with their father on almost a daily basis. But she was still, she thought, in love with him. She thought of him as her boyfriend and still fantasized about them moving off somewhere together and living as man and wife.
