John POV

I am going through Ellie's closet like a madman. I cannot focus. My mother comes into the bedroom to try to help. "John, what are you doing?" my mother asks.

"I am looking for the yellow dress that Ellie loved so much. The one with the white flowers on it. I always told her she looked like a sunflower in it. I want that dress," I say.

My mother pushes me out of the way and takes the dress out of the closet. "Is this it?" my mother asks.

"Yes, thank you," I say. She has always been able to fix my problems and Ellie's for that matter....
