"And the winner for prom queen is.....Ember Wilson!"

We all applauded the girl. Some girl won the prom queen and it was Ember, the girl who I sat within my literature class.

"And the winner for prom king is.....Luke Jackson!" Said the announcer for the day.

We all cheered at them, and they both stood beside each other. They really look good together. I hope Luke finds happiness in her.

Emma glanced at me, studying my reaction to see if I reacted weirdly but I just gave her a thumbs up, “They look good together.”

She nodded, patting me on the head.
