"What are you doing?" I asked Jace,

"You have to pack little by little, Hale, and we're leaving here while it's early," he said.

"But what about my family? They'll be Lucas' back!" I said.

"Now it's their flight, so Dad can't get them anymore. The important thing is we can get out of here," he added.
