I never did go back to my parents’ house after that night with Aiden.

We walked over there the next day and told them we were in love and that I was moving in with him. They weren’t exactly thrilled, but once they realized how serious we were, they started to come around. We were married shortly after and nine months later I gave birth to our beautiful little girl. I can’t believe she’s already one. She has her daddy’s green eyes, and she has us both wrapped around her little finger.
