“Tell me what you know, Jace,” I command my Beta. “I actually suspected that there may be an Alpha attempting to overtake my position by sending a woman to seduce me. Because only Clark doesn't realize that Alcina is not here for him”.

A fleeting expression passes across Jace's face but I can't discern if he knows more than he is letting on. His aura shifts briefly before returning to normal. Unable to read his thoughts this time around, all I can do for now is wait patiently for any further word from my Beta.
