There were rarely few things that a man wished to see after coming back from a disaster of a date, where the girl ate dinner at one of the more expensive restaurants and led you on the entire time, only to back out once you got her home.

Either you kept up the perfect gentleman act and she promised to put out the next time, which she did every other time before then, or you finally called her out on the bullshit and she told you never to call her again. Either way she came out ahead.
