My eyes turned into slits as they turned in his direction, what right did he have to laugh at me?
“What's so funny?”
“Oh, nothing sunshine.” He said, grinding from ear to ear. “I mean aside from the lovely mother and daughter interaction I just witnessed.”
I moved my right foot toward him, giving him a nice side view of my new strappy, black patent pumps.
“Gloating doesn't suit you, not even in the least. And don't ever call me sunshine.”
