"You're home early." I said to Winston as soon as he stepped through the door.

"And you're right where I left you." He said with a smile which I returned generously, walking towards me and placing his bag on the table at the centre of the sitting room before placing a hand on my forehead. I didn't tear my eyes away from his face as he checks to see if my fever still persisted. He ducked in a breath before barely sitting on the couch.
