That morning, Nico sat at the dining table playing with his spoon, waiting for Celine to come downstairs. He was determined to talk directly to Celine about their increasingly complicated relationship. However, the atmosphere became uncomfortable when Celine suddenly received a call in the middle of breakfast.  

"Yes, Bryan? What's wrong?" asked Celine as she stood up from her chair, moving away to take the call.  

Nico could only hear part of their conversation. But, from Celine's serious tone of voice, Nico guessed the conversation was important.  

"I'll be right there," Celine said before hanging up.
