We got to his house and went inside. He was sitting so close to me. I kept moving a little away. Then he looked at me and smiled.

“Are you scared?” he asked.

I rolled my eyes. “Of what?”

He leaned a bit closer and said, “If you want to stand a chance, then we need to act like real couples.”

I looked at him confused. “What do you mean?”

“We need to act close,” he said. “Like people madly in love. That’s what they expect from us. We can’t look like strangers.”

I blinked and said nothing.

Phillip smirked and said, “I bet you can’t handle me.”
